Tropical Flowers

Tropical flowers are those which naturally arose within tropical climates. The many bright and entrancing colors they present are a major aspect of their appeal. They are also prized for their exquisite fragrance as well as their exotic beauty .

There are a few different locations from which tropical flowers may come. These areas are all found between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The main regions from which flowers will come include Hawaii, Indonesia, the Amazon Basin and the Congo Basin.

Other locations from which they may come include India and southern China. Of all these, the Hawaiian species are currently the most desirable. Specific popular tropical flowers include orchids, heliconias, rhizomes, and gingers.
