Flower Arrangements

Flower arrangements can be very traditional or practical. They may also be very artistic. It is very common for different nations to have their particular style when it comes to making such arrangements.

For instance, flower arrangements may come in the English Garden style. This uses abundant seasonal plants. With it, many options are used and stems are placed in a radial fashion. On the other hand, the High Style emphasis deals with linear emphasis, asymmetrical layout and negative space.

Ikebana flower arrangements are a traditional Japanese practice. Their emphasis is places upon line and simplicity. Unlike many western options, the stems and leaves may be just as important as the actual flowers, if not more so.
